This weekend sees the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch. This first started in 1979 and is a brilliant piece of “citizen science”. If you can, make the time this weekend to visit the RSPB website and take part, as a family, in the Birdwatch.

Over the last couple of weeks we have looked at three birds with long tails that are generally black and white. They are:

  • the Magpie
  • the Pied Wagtail
  • the Long Tailed Tit

These three birds are similar in some ways but very different in others. Can you see what they are?
