Over 100 bicycles were brought into school this morning for the Alwoodley 2030 team to service. Here you can see the team hard and work adjusting brakes, replacing cables, pumping up tyres and making other repairs. Hopefully these bicycles will now be used for lots of rides, including active travel to school, especially now the weather is improving. A huge thanks to Alwoodley 2030 for enabling this.

A huge thank you to Matthew and his team from Kovrlijaandco mobile bike repair for the incredible amount of hard work they put in on Friday in servicing so many bikes!

We would like to encourage all cyclists to:

  • take part in cycling proficiency lessons
  • wear high viz when cycling
  • wear a helmet when cycling
  • keep their bicycles well maintained.
