On Saturday we took delivery of our composter. It is a Ridan hot composter which we hope will allow us to compost our food waste turning it into more compost to grow more food!
The composter has been donated to us by Mark from Plate2Plate Compost who take food waste from local businesses and homes in order to make compost. Before we can use it we will have to strip it down and replace a few parts that have broken but in a few months time we hope to be generating compost to use in our school food growing area.
