Tree wasps on Water Figwort, apparently one of its favourite plants!
Tree wasps can be distinguished from other wasps by the single yellow mark on their face, their antennae are yellow right at the base and their thorax has hairs at the sides and two yellow spots on their back. (Click on the pictures for a closer look)
