This year, our eco-committee decided to complete the RSPB Wild Schools Challenge.
We will be carrying out various different activities related to the wildlife and nature around us. Today’s session was called ‘Look Closer’.
This involved sharpening our observation skills to observe nature up close. We used magnifying glasses to closely observe the reproductive parts of daffodils and then we got the microscopes out and zoomed in to look at all sorts of amazing things such as a bee’s leg and plant stems.
We had a lot of fun and these budding scientist will now be adding a mini microscope to their birthday lists!
